The Rise and Rise of Kip Lewis as a Real Estate Agent

It is always said that a journey of a million miles starts with a single step.

This is a phrase that Kip Lewis knows all too well.

As a founder of one of the most recognized real estate agencies in the country, Lewis’ journey can be traced back to the late 1980s when he graduated from McCoy College of Business in Austin, Texas.

After graduating, Lewis risked his $2000 personal savings and ventured into business.

His first investment was a thirty-five-acre recreational vehicle and motorhome park based in Round Rock, Texas.

Lewis managed his business for years before opting to sell the park to Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT).

At the time of selling the park, Lewis had managed to expand it from thirty-five acres to sixty acres.

The sale of the park was an excellent opportunity for Lewis, as it allowed him to open his real estate company-Lewis Investment.

Apart from the sixty acres he owned in Texas, Lewis was also able to purchase different properties in different communities such as Pflugerville and Georgetown.

2022 will mark three decades since Kip Lewis ventured into the real estate sector.

Within this period, Lewis has purchased and revitalized more than 45,000 square feet of commercial properties based in Texas.

Even though Lewis is into the real estate business, the purchase and resell of these properties has been done with the sole purpose being to preserve the historical aspect of the properties.

For example, the renovation of Main Street Grill Restaurant in 1999 was to facilitate the hosting of local, international, and national business communities.

The restaurant was able to achieve its purpose until its closure in 2017.
